worst experience ever. i placed an order with uber eats tonight. take a look at the pictures to see what i ordered for my pizza versus what i got. ham and mushrooms?! i literally cannot eat this pizza due to its toppings, so i had to throw the whole thing away. luckily uber eats gave me a refund for this part of the order after i called them. however, when i opened the cinnamon bread box later, i realized there was no side of icing. guess i should’ve asked for a refund for that too, but not worth the hassle anymore, i already wasted my time waiting for this completely wrong order. i mean, really, what is this? so disappointing!!!
I have tried Blaze Pizza in NJ and it was really good but this place beats it by a huge margin.
Firstly, the people preparing the pizza were quite generous and invested (most of the time the concerns with joint like this is that the quantity of toppings are always inconsistent with mostly leaning towards lesser side but they evenly spread out everything, everywhere around the pizza).
Secondly, the 'done'ness of the pizza was very good rather spot on.
Kudos to the team working here!
I'm sure the other employees are hopefully good, but me and my family are on vacation from Maine and my bf and I came in last night after ordering an online order for two pizzas. They were hustling, and doing great but unfortunately one of our pizzas got missed, so one sat for ..well, awhile. I didn't get his name but the taller gentlemen who was working 3/10 around 10pm mostly working the pizza oven was top tier. Like...honestly I feel this place would crash and burn without him. If he isn't in some managerial position and he wants it, you'd be foolish to not give it to him. He refired our entire order to ensure quality, was the ONLY employee to acknowledge us (the rest of the crew really needs to work on that) , was giving direction, was orchestrating the work flow and keeping things organized and moving. When he refired our order he personally handled making sure our pizzas both got to us. Was the only employee to show any personality. He makes working the oven looking like an art form. As someone who has always done food management, I felt the need to sing his praises. He is the reason we will return, and him alone. Pizza was great too but good food can be worthless w bad service and that guy definitely gave great mentionable service.
The pizza quality was excellent, with a wide variety to choose from. The staff were patient and friendly, and the prices were reasonable.
Because this is the second time I’ve had this type of experience with this location…I’m writing this review.
Please do NOT order online from here. I’ve had no luck with accuracy of orders. The first time, the toppings were incorrect. As of writing this review, my ENTIRE order was incorrect. The drink was wrong (diet coke instead of coke zero) — this wasn’t bad, and is understandable.
BUT, my pizza actually didn’t even have sauce. It was just cheese and pepperoni, and it was missing the condiment. Seriously though, how do you forget sauce on a pizza? It’s even specified in the order. Granted, it’s almost 2 hours until closing, and the work staff might be tired (as someone who used to work in the food industry, I get it), but this location has some serious quality control standards. I’ve attached images, as well.
NOT an experience you want to have when getting home from work late.
