For those of you who, like me, think Boston pizza sucks (it really does.), this place is for you. This is the only pizza I've found in Boston that is genuine New York style pizza. It is incredibly delicious. I have had both their regular crust and their whole wheat personal size crust, and both were very tasty, with a good crunch vs. chew ratio. Their cheese is perfectly gooey (without being gross) and their sauce has a great mix of herbs in it. The great ingredients they used shined though.
I would recommend this place to anyone who knows good pizza.
Crazy Dough's has a clean little counter in the Prudential Center. It's tucked away by the post office and flywheel, not the food court. It provides a quiet oasis for the office workers from the towers and is a lot less hectic than the food court.
I ordered a Sicilian slice of chipotle chicken, covered with cheese, hot sauce, spicy chicken, red onions, scallions and sour cream. It was very good, with a foccacia like crust and a good amount of toppings. I'm not a fan of spicy foods but this was seasoned perfectly.
I'll be sure to go back and try some of their other pizzas. I give this one 5 stars.
I love the variety of pizza slices this place has that are not so typical like the loaded baked potato slice or the reuben slice but nothing will ever make me salivate more than the short rib slice which I believe is on and off there unfortunately. This slice makes all of your tastebuds come alive and might be a little aphrodisiac in my honest opinion. I think it has green onions and teriyaki but that short rib just melts in your mouth.
Place is great if you need a quick food fix and they have PBR on tap!
Great pizza for the price! It isn't anything super special, but I enjoy there specialty pizzas and the cheap pitchers is a huge plus!
Delicious pizza! They are HUGE slices and open late! A long line at night, but usually worth it! :)
