Ernesto’s Pizza, Salem Street.
Lightning fast slice of pizza. If you are on the run or need a quick fix, stop in. Good choice for a quick slice.
Tiny and compact dining area.
Slices are enormous!
Order a pie if you want a custom creation.
I was tempted to try this place as I was exploring spots on the North End. I highly recommend their eggplant pizza, it’s one of the most uniquely delicious pizzas I’ve had. I wish I had the secret recipe to their breaded eggplant. Ernesto’s is great value for money, without compromising on taste. I also appreciated that they had a booth at the entrance of North End, advertising their spot. I hope they do great, they deserve it!
This place seemed to be a popular spot with the locals so I decided to give it a try. While not the best slice I’ve had, it stopped my rumbling stomach. Maybe it was the slice I chose (chicken, ricotta and pepperoni) but it definitely looked better than it tasted. I left satiated but not satisfied. Not sure if I’d return but if I did, I would probably just get a plain pepperoni slice.
Very good tasting slice of pizza. Best part is the huge slice (about the size of 2 NY size slices) is about $7. Very nice selection of slices as well
The taste of the pizza is super! I would suggest that any of their pizzas have great flavor and they offer great combinations of toppings on their slices. I would not eat inside as you end up with people ordering/waiting hanging over you--but if you want to eat and dash, they do have a few tables. Really wish they would spruce up the outside of the building to be more inviting, looks old and tired as you approach.
