AMAZING PIZZA & the kindest staff! This place is so good and fresh and definitely made with love. This is also my official request to keep the mushroom slice on the menu forever because it’s the best mushroom pizza I’ve ever had! Every single time I’ve come in to get my order the place is so clean and the staff are always warm and informative about ingredients menu items. Will keep supporting this place because they are doing more than a few things right in here. The price it self may seem intimidating to those used to a $3 slice but this ain’t cardboard and cheese, these are fresh artisanal slices made with fresh ingredients and you can tell someone is thoughtfully curating item pairings for a variety of patrons, even those that are used to a $3 slice. This place is awesome and if you give it a try I don’t think you’ll regret it.

Legitly the best Roman-style pizza I've ever had and some of the best pizza I've ever had in general! These thicc brick pizzas have that light crispy exterior with perfectly chewey dough inside.

My two favorites here are the spicy sopressata and the prosciutto di parma. The toppings on these two masterpieces are completely dialed in and are super fresh, quality ingredients. I've had plenty of other pizzas of the same name/similar toppings, but the ones from here are at the peak. Sweet and savory —my favorite flavor combo, nailed in two unique ways with these pizzas. The roasted pepper harmonized with the meat and honey. The roasted figs melt in your mouth with each bite, and each bite —a blessing. Hallelujah!

The staff here is so warm and kind as well. They were trying to get rid of bread at the end of the day and graciously offered us some of their roasted tomato focaccia, which we graciously accepted. It was perfect focaccia —light crisp like their pizzas, with nice bounce to the soft interior.

Lastly, we tried the chocolate chip cookies here, and they were super solid. I'm a cookie snob, and I don't say that often. They have good old-fashioned quality cookies with the mandatory sea salt sprinkle. Delightful. We will definitely be back for our favorites and to discover more!

*Update*
I tried the prosciutto sandwich. It looked very unassuming and humble, but it was all a guise. When I took a bite, it revealed it's true angelic form as one of THE best sandwiches I've ever had. My friends, the sandwiches are just as dialed in as the pizzas —the most optimal combination of the freshest ingredients residing between airy toasted pieces of delicious bread. It had a hint of sweetness with its perfectly savory overtone. I wish this place was closer to me in the north shore. Blessed are those who live near this bright gem.

I don’t remember how the pizza tasted in Italy since it has been years, so I didn’t expect this pizza to unlock a memory from that trip. The crust was perfectly crispy and airy, and each slice had a distinct flavor. The salt-cured egg yolk on the Green Asparagus in particular was interesting—there wasn’t much, but the amount that was there added an impactful dimension to the flavor.

My main critique is that the pizza was very salty. It definitely got to be too much after the first slice. I wondered if it was an off batch, but the cookies in the ice cream sandwich were also overwhelmingly salty (the house-made vanilla bean gelato was delicious, though!). I saw a review claiming the pizza to be too sweet, so maybe the feedback had been taken too far in the other direction.

Regardless, 5/5 because it was a pleasant dinner overall, and service was very friendly.

Unique, tasty, fairly priced. I live just three blocks from Gary’s and we have many alternative pizza places to choose from. Gary’s is our monster favorite. The large unique Roman style brick pizzas are fabulous with crisp crust, strong bread, generous toppings, and rich flavors. I like how instead of just ordering whole pizzas you can customize the mix of slices to appeal to different tastes. My favorites are mushroom with extra pecorino and a taste of truffles, as well as the good old fashioned pepperoni snd cheese . The focaccia bread is also fabulous with its olives, garlic and dried tomatoes. They are unique in adding final toppings after reheating their already-warm fresh slices just before boxing. It guarantees that they will be hot. I also like how they add different pizzas each week to give you variety. We have used it three times for takeout for Patriots games, impress our guests, and just keep wanting more.

Delicious pizza: airy crust, premium toppings, great pairings. Take out only. A bit hot and small inside.

Didn’t know the 1/2 and full size pizzas were made to order so had to wait 20 minutes (thought was going to get the equivalent of the available slices on display).
