Stopped in for a quick lunch while visiting Boston. Healthy salad and pasta options, enjoyed the baked wings. Reasonably prices, fresh/quality ingredients, great proportions for the cost. Great summer salad, not a huge fan of the cheese but that's just personal preference. Also tried the vanilla ice cream, highly recommend the ice cream. Would visit again for sure.
I recently visited Picco in the West End while in town for a business conference, and it was a phenomenal experience. This place serves some of the best pizza on this side of Boston, and the service was impressively quick. Our server was attentive and on top of everything. From our table, we could see the pizza oven and watch the chefs make everything from scratch, which added to the wonderful atmosphere. The combination of great food, efficient service, and a vibrant setting makes Picco a must-visit. I'll definitely be coming back again.
We are visiting from out of town and decided to try Picco for dinner as Take out. We're staying within walking distance and it sounded good. We ordered a Small pizza with chicken, onions, olives, sauce and fresh Mozzarella cheese. We also got a salad with Boston lettuce, Apples, walnuts, bacon and gouda cheese with Lemon poppyseed dressing. Everything was hot fresh and delicious. Highly recommend this place.
Looked up best pizza in Boston & this place was on the list. Since it was close to work, I went for a quick bite.
It was just after 6 on a Saturday, so busy, yet not crowded. I was able to grab a seat at the bar without delay.
I chose the burrata and meatball appetizers. HAVE MERCY!!!! The strawberry rhubarb jam was such a burst of brightness in my mouth. The crunch of pistachios made a great change in texture. The biscuits are adorable, open faced, grilled biscuits (that are incredible). The meatballs are what you would expect at a fave pizza spot. Plenty of flavor, just enough sauce... mmmm.
I placed a to go order for pizza. Half pepperoni and half sausage/fennel/ ricotta. Heated a slice of each the next day for lunch. Now I see why Picco is on the best pizza list in Boston. Even reheated leftover is delicious.
It's located in a prime area on Tremont St, so don't expect street parking. There is a public parking garage you drive into from the back of building, but walk out on the front (conveniently at the door for Picco).
They have a nice ice cream selection that I passed on. However, I saw plenty of people ordering dessert.
I was craving pizza and what better place than Boston to satisfy my hunger? Picco popped up on my search for gluten-free pizza, so we decided to give it a go. Atmosphere was lively, our server was fun to banter with and the food was fantastic. Picco also makes ice cream and sorbet in-house — dairy-free dark chocolate and raspberry sorbet made a super combination to top off the meal. Wish the place stayed open later. Note to our server: I should have ordered that second pizza!
