Regina Pizzeria

A good stop while exploring Boston. There’s something fun about grabbing a slice from a place that has been making brick-oven pizza since 1926, and you can definitely tell this place has become a Boston tradition.

I tried the Caprese pizza, and it was excellent. The crust had a nice crispness and slight char while still having a good chew. The fresh tomatoes, melted cheese and basil worked really well together, but the balsamic glaze drizzle was what really brought everything together. It added just enough sweetness and tang without overpowering the pizza.

I also liked being able to see all the different pizzas displayed at the counter before ordering. The slices are large, there are plenty of choices, and everything looked fresh. Service moved quickly even with a steady flow of customers.

The atmosphere has that busy, old-school Boston pizza-shop feel rather than a polished chain restaurant, which adds to the experience. It’s quick, casual and exactly the kind of place you want to stumble across while walking around the historic part of the city.

Overall, great pizza, a big satisfying slice, and a little Boston history at the same time. Definitely worth stopping at Pizzeria Regina if you’re visiting the area.

Can’t say enough about this place. The pizza is amazing, service is quick, lively fun atmosphere. We only waited about 25 min to be seated. Enjoyed all of the police patches on the wall.

Would always recommend to try Regina’s if you’re in Boston. The pizza is pretty decent but I shot myself in the foot by having NY pizza the day before. Overall, it’s an above average slice but a little bit too doughy for my taste. I would definitely say to try it in one of their sit down locations for a better experience.

Regina is famous around Boston. I don't know if the Quincy Mkt. location is as good as their dine-in places (because every dine-in had a line down the street I wasn't willing to tackle), but I really liked it for early lunch take-out slices. Good selection of toppings. The crust stands out: Crispy and chewy, it's not your typical food court pizza.

Tried two veg pizza options, cheese pizza was best and spinach pizza was ok. Overall, taste and experience was good, must try if visiting Boston.
