Went to Union Park Pizza right after they opened, so it was calm and not busy. The worker with the red glasses and red cap was really nice and helpful. He even asked if I wanted all my food at once or as it was ready, which I thought was very thoughtful.
I ordered a pepperoni slice, a buffalo chicken slice, and sweet dough puffs. I had to switch to takeout last minute because of class, and he was very understanding and kind about it.
The pepperoni slice was pretty standard, but the dough was really good. The buffalo chicken slice was my favorite. It was so good and actually changed my mind about buffalo chicken pizza (I usually don’t really like it but this one, it was great). The drizzle on top made it even better. The sweet dough puffs were warm, chewy, and sweet, and the cannoli dip was really good and not too sweet.
This place offers great service and good food. I will definitely come back again!
I don't care where you live. Book a flight and come here. Outrageously good pizza and the nicest staff. This place came highly recommended by a friend so I had to pop in when I was in Boston. We had a few slices, pepperoni, plain and buffalo. All of them were amazing.

Too Good To Go pickup review (for TGTG users):
Picked up a Too Good To Go order here and received 4 slices total, roughly 4/6 of a tray, for $6 (~$1.50 per slice).
Based on the restaurant’s regular menu pricing, the estimated retail value of these slices is about $12–13, which is below the ~3× value that Too Good To Go typically advertises. Compared to other TGTG pickups in the area, the portion and value felt underwhelming.
The slices were clearly day-old and required reheating at home, which is expected for TGTG. However, given the quantity and value, the overall experience didn’t feel like a particularly good deal.
Once it was clear this was a Too Good To Go pickup, the interaction became very transactional—no greeting or acknowledgment beyond the handoff—making it feel more like a delivery pickup than a customer interaction.
I appreciate the goal of reducing food waste, but for TGTG customers specifically, this location may not offer the value or experience you’d expect. Probably wouldn’t repeat.
The words that came out of my mouth after taking a bit of the cheese slice the other day....."finally pizza that doesn't suck." And I mean it! That cheese slice straight out their over was divine. It was obvious that they take pride in the dough and using quality ingredients. It's easy to tell when a pizza shop is more cookie cutter in the pizza they provide, but with Union Park Pizza, it's clear that they care and take the additional steps to ensure their pizza is quality. It was everything I want in a slice.... thin crust, no flop, flavorful, quality ingredients, excellent sauce, quality cheese that has an added depth to it that the cookie cutter pizza places simply cannot provide. Since that day, I've shared far and wide with friends and co-workers how good this pizza is! Additionally, I now no longer buy frozen pizza from the grocery store. Instead, I go to Union Park Pizza and order 2 large pies, eat what i can, and then freeze the rest so I have absolutely delicious pizza ready to go when needed.... it tastes smashing coming out of my toaster oven as well! Just so unbelievably grateful I found this lovely shop. Their pizza rocks and they have my utmost highest recommendation.
Sincerely, Eric Fletcher
Delicious pizza as always. The pizza order I catered came hot, fresh, and so tasty. This is my go-to pizza place in Back Bay, whether for a single slice or for a catered party. Check them out!
